How the 60-second check-in works
Self-employed income, K-1s, 1099s, and asset-heavy portfolios rarely fit a bank’s standard mortgage form, and most borrowers don’t want tax returns or a credit hit just to find out what fits. This check-in narrows the field first, before any paperwork or credit check enters the picture.
Five short questions do it: what you’re borrowing for, how your household earns, roughly how long you’ve earned that way, a rough credit-score range (a guess is fine — no credit pull), and the state where the property sits, since licensing varies by state.
Your answers stay in your browser until you ask to see your match, when we ask for an email to hold your spot. What comes back is a named loan path, the reasons behind it, and a link to real numbers.
Questions about the check-in
Does the check-in affect my credit score?
No. It only asks your general range — we never run a credit check.
Do I need tax returns or bank statements to get my match?
No documents at all. Paperwork like bank statements comes later, once a loan officer reviews your file.
Is this the same as applying for a mortgage?
No — it's a screening tool, not an application. Your match is an estimate, not a commitment to lend or a rate quote.
What if I'm not sure how I earn or which program fits?
Choose ‘Not sure / exploring’ and we'll point you to the full loan catalog instead of guessing at one product.
Ready for real numbers on a specific program?
Turns your match into program-specific numbers — still no credit pull, still no tax returns, reviewed by a licensed loan officer.
